"When you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life
to start as soon as possible"
When Sally Met Harry
I can't wait to help to create your perfect 'big day'!
There are no limits as to what kind of ceremony you may have (so long as its legal). You can have your wedding ceremony anywhere you wish - Indoor, outdoor, on a boat, in a lighthouse or on a double-decker bus! You really can have the ceremony of your dreams, incorporating your own vows, written by you (with or without my assistance), readings, poems, music and perhaps a special mini ceremony within it. Although it will not be a religious ceremony, I am very happy to incorporate religious readings or hymns if you wish to include them.
Some examples of special mini ceremonies that could be incorporated in your ceremony are:
Lighting a Unity Candle
Blessing of the Rings
* Please note: currently in the UK you must be legally married by a religious minister or registrar. However most couples who wish to have a celebrant-led wedding will arrange to go to a registry office for the legal element first, perhaps a few days before, and which only need take a short amount of time if you request the 'paperwork only' standard ceremony. (You must also 'give notice' at the registry office at least 29 days prior to that ceremony).
You can then relax and enjoy the wedding ceremony of your dreams with your friends and family, wherever you like.
Includes: Meeting with you both (in person or via Skype etc) to discuss your wishes and to share ideas.
Collecting the 'research material' that you will have provided via my special questionnaires completed by you both together and also individually and creating a wedding script based around that.
Keeping in touch to make sure you are happy and incorporate any new ideas you may have.
Writing the ceremony and suggesting special elements that make it unique to you.
Coaching any speakers/readers in readiness for the ceremony.
Running the ceremony on the day.
A commemorative copy of the script and a Wedding Certificate.
Travel costs up to 50 miles round trip.
Additional costs to consider, which may or may not be applicable:
Additional work if required, above and beyond that above - £40 per hour
Additional mileage over 50 miles - 45p per mile
